The distinctive oval-shaped soundhole was also revamped to produce more prominent low tones and reactive middle-range harmonic blasts. It’s beautifully complimented with a simple but classic abalone rosette.

Yamaha’s APX600 is manufactured with locally sourced tonewoods. It features a tonal spruce top, nato body, glossy finish and specifically curated tropical wood for its neck. Like guitars in the widely popular A Series, the rosewood fretboard is enhanced by Yamaha’s go-to SRT transducer sensor, a unique undersaddle piezo pickup. It preserves your most authentic guitar sound with the truly mixable sound and feedback rejection capabilities that guitarists love.

It is constructed from a combination of spruce top and nato body with a gloss finish and a locally sourced tropical tonewood for the neck as well as a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.

This upgraded APX600 features a unique undersaddle piezo pickup, the Yamaha proprietary SRT transducer. The same as the one featured in their highly acclaimed A Series range, it captures your guitar's natural tone with the feedback rejection and mix-friendly sound guitarists crave.
