It comes from the seeds of a palm tree wild harvested in the forest. Murumuru butter is rich in vitamins A and C and Omega fatty acids 3, 6, and 9. The main fatty acid found in this butter is called Lauric acid and is known for its anti-allergenic, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral properties making this a good choice for acne-prone skin, psoriasis, and eczema. It also has myristic acid, oleic, palmitic, linoleic acids, and antioxidants. For addition in soaps, the general rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon per pound.Storage: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C) away from direct light and moisture in an air-tight container. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (above 36 °C) but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.Shelf Life: 12 months, properly stored, in a sealed container.
