Researchers from Stellenbosch University report to have found an overload of various inflammatory molecules, literally “trapped” inside insoluble microscopic blood clots (micro clots), in the blood of individuals suffering from Long-COVID. They argue that this may be the cause of some of the lingering symptoms experienced by individuals with Long COVID.
