Leica M6 Manual focus M mount 35mm rangefinder camera released by Leica in 1984. The M6 signaled a return to M3-style cameras after the commercial failure of the M5. Its main improvement over the M4, M2, and M3 is a built-in light meter. Its production continued until 1998 when the M6 was superseded by the M6 TTL.
