Our 1880s Victorian corset pattern is the perfect foundation for fashions of the last quarter of the 19th century, encompassing both the bustle and Belle Époque periods. Made with shaped pieces rather than gussets or gores, this corsets nips in the waist, smooths the hips and torso, and supports the bust without creating a dramatic modern push-up effect.
Pattern features:
Sizes XS—XXL have 10 shaped panels (5 for each side), while plus sizes have 12 shaped panels (6 for each side)
Designed for a front-opening busk and steel boning
Back lacing strips are made as separate, alterable panels for adjustability
