We made them using 98% cotton 2% Spandex UPCYCLED ring spun denim. With just the right amount of stretch and structure.
Ring spun denim was traditionally used up until the late 1970s, and was later replaced by the lesser quality inexpensive option of open end yarns. We chose the Ring-spun yarn because it creates unique surface characteristics in the fabric, such as unevenness, and gives the jeans a traditional masculine irregular authentic vintage look not to mention the functionality of the fibre strength while still being super duper soft.
