lt;p>Something fiercely new has pounced into the Well-Hung "Wild Things" line something kinda fun, and real different!Many guitarists prefer sliding buckle straps - I agree they are convenient and micro-adjust to length in a classic design. The issue I have with most of 'em is unapologetic uncomfiness, especially those economy, stripped down 2" wide starter-pack shoulder-pounders we all have three too many of. Now, many manufacturers who probably wish they could be Well-Hung, eagerly sew a 2" wide bit of fancy ribbon to some cheap poly or whatever, punch a few rivets into some weak leather, add a couple of metal loops, a sharp metal buckle, then call 'er done and make bank. A classic design, ubiquitous, time-tested, widely popular with the factories. So was the Model T. The Well-Hung hootenanny design turns that aged-out, past-its-prime design on it's head. First off, this is a FULLY 3" wide body, in this case Ocelot plush with soft, comfy rolled-over edges. Offers wonderful relief from the usual poundin' and scrapin' away at sensitive pressure points. The reinforced ocelot fabric is backed with STRONG upholstery cloth on the backside with a bit of grip to it. The body is also luxuriously PADDED in the shoulder, something very rare in a hootanny strap. Expect incomparable comfort to the 2" typical. It flows through a heavy duty ABS plastic tri-buckle and loops which guitars find as no imminent threat of heartbreaking dents, scratches 'n dings. If all that weren't enough of a difference, you'll also see this strap also adjusts nicely between 38"-ish all the way down-down-town to 66", ending with high quality leather ends. This is nearing crazy/silly territory. Some guitarists crave this level of Well-Hungedness, but I find most adult guitarists require something more in the 45"-56" range. But if you want to throw wildly sensual rock star shapes, extra length is crucial. It just can't be done ridin' high. Rest assured no "Ocelots" were harmed for the making. This is a fully synthetic plush, looks and feels a bit furry, and will definitely add a serious amount of "RAWWRRR!" factor to any rig and it's wearer. It's my belief every guitarist should have at least one animal print strap. THIS is the one to have! For the nose 'n tail bits, understand there's REAL leather here. Beefy stuff, layered and reinforced for extra strength. In black, backed with a complimentary oil-tanned cowhide. Good leather nose & tails give a strap long life and a higher level of guitar security, something I refuse to compromise on. You'll most likely not require strap locks or beer gaskets to keep this clinging to your pins. Owners find Well-Hung straps famously robust and secure, like no other strap brand they've worn before. Sewn with quality upholstery thread, inside this strap carved layers of foam compress perfectly under guitar weight, making Well-Hung guitar straps probably the most luxurious not just on Earth, but I suspect the entire multiverse. Understand they are handcrafted to NOT sit up high and feel all blumpy and on your shoulder like a ploofy orthopedic wookie ammo belt rest home strap. You also won't suddenly look and feel instantly ancient wearing a medical-device harnessy contraption. Well-Hung sits right, feels right, are right. Well-Hung guitar straps are borne to perform.
